Acrylic Keychain Size Guide
Our keychains are measured by the longest side of your design. Whether your artwork is tall or wide, the largest dimension determines the size category.
- The "Longest Side" Rule: If your character is 1.5" wide and 2" tall, it falls into the 2" size category. Always measure the total footprint.
- Hole Placement Safety: Avoid placing important details (like eyes or text) within 4-5mm of the top edge to leave room for the hardware hole.
- The 3mm Edge: We automatically add a small transparent border (bleed) around your design to protect the print and give it a premium "sandwich" look.
- Peel for Clarity: Remember, all keychains ship with a protective plastic film on both sides. Peel it off to reveal the crystal-clear finish!
Merch Design & Artwork Rules
Follow these guidelines to ensure your charms are crystal clear, perfectly aligned, and retail-ready.
- High-Res Formats: We recommend 300 DPI PNG (transparent), PSD, or Vector (AI/SVG). Higher resolution is vital for sharp details on small 2"–3" charms.
- Double-Sided Setup: If your back side is different from the front, please provide two separate layers or files. We will mirror the back to align perfectly with the front.
- The "Sandwich" White Ink: By default, we print a white ink layer behind your colors to make them opaque. If you want "stained glass" transparency, please specify in your notes.
- Hole Placement Safety: Keep critical details (eyes, logos, text) at least 4-5mm away from the top edge to leave room for the hardware hole.
- Smooth Cutlines: Don't worry about complex paths—our team will create a smooth 3mm offset cutline (transparent border) for you and send a digital proof.

What is the best way to set up my artwork files?
We accept PNG (transparent), SVG, AI, PSD, and PDF. For the best results, use 300 DPI. You don't need to be an expert at dielines—our team will automatically create a smooth 3mm offset cutline and a hardware hole for you. We’ll send a digital proof for your approval before production starts.
Are your keychains double-sided? What finishes are available?
