Shaker Size Guide
We measure our 3-layer shakers based on the longest side of the outer frame. For the best "shake" action, we recommend choosing a size that allows your internal fillers to move freely.
- The "Longest Side" Rule: Whether your shaker is a boba cup or a game console shape, the price is determined by its maximum dimension (width or height).
- Standard vs. Large: 2.5" (63.5mm) is our most popular size, providing the perfect balance between portability and "shaker" space.
- Structural Integrity: The "bridges" (the acrylic frame parts) should be at least 2.5mm wide to ensure the 3-layer sandwich stays strong and leak-proof.
- Internal Fillers: We recommend fillers be sized between 10mm to 15mm. Too small and they vanish; too large and they won't shake!
Shaker Master: Upload & Design Rules
Designing a 3-layer shaker requires precision. Follow these specs to ensure your interactive charm works perfectly.
- Layered Files Preferred: Please provide PSD or AI files with separate layers for the Outer Shell, Middle Frame, and Fillers. High-res PNGs (transparent) also work if clearly labeled.
- The 300 DPI Standard: For Shakers, 100 DPI isn't enough. Use 300 DPI to keep your character art and tiny filler icons crisp within the acrylic sandwich.
- Hollow Cavity Safety: Your "Middle Frame" (the hollow part) must have at least 2.5mm of acrylic width. This ensures a leak-proof seal and structural strength during those enthusiastic shakes.
- Filler Sizing: Keep fillers at least 2mm smaller than the internal hollow area. We recommend keeping text on fillers ≥ 6pt to remain legible while in motion.
- Pro Proofing Service: Shakers are complex! Our team will manually review your layers and send a technical proof within 24h showing the cutlines for all 3 layers.

Can I mix multiple character designs in one shaker order?
Because each shaker requires a unique 3-layer alignment (Shell + Middle Frame + Fillers), please add each artwork as a separate item. This allows our team to provide a custom digital proof for each design. Bulk discounts still apply to your total cart value!
How do I set up the "Hollow" area and "Fillers"?
A layered PSD or AI file is best. Simply place your "Outer Shell" on one layer and your "Fillers" on another. Our designers will automatically create the middle frame (hollow cavity) and ensure there is enough "movement gap" so your pieces shake perfectly. We'll send the technical layout for your approval within 24h.
Are the shakers durable? Will they leak or break?
We use a Triple-Layer Sandwich construction with 3mm high-impact acrylic. The layers are bonded using industrial-grade UV adhesive, creating a rock-solid, airtight seal. They are built to withstand everyday use on bags and keys without leaking or cracking.
Can I customize the shape of the internal fillers?
Yes! That’s the best part. You can design your own mini-acrylic shapes (fillers). We recommend keeping filler sizes between 10mm and 15mm. If you don't provide custom filler art, we can provide standard colorful sequins or stars upon request.
My shaker looks "foggy" or scratched. Is it defective?
Not at all! Every shaker ships with a dual-sided protective film on the front and back shells to prevent scuffs during assembly. Once you peel off the film, you’ll see the crystal-clear, diamond-polished finish beneath.
What hardware options do I have?
