- Lid Labels (Circular): Measure the flat recessed area of the lid. Subtract 2mm from the diameter for a perfect "drop-in" fit that won't lift at the edges.
- Side Panel Labels: Measure the flat, straight vertical section of the jar. Avoid placing labels on the shoulder or base curves to prevent wrinkling.
- Tapered Jars: If your jar is wider at the top than the bottom, standard rectangular labels may crease. Contact us for a custom tapered dieline template.
- Compliance Text: For nutrition facts and ingredient lists, ensure your font size is ≥ 5-6pt to maintain high-definition legibility.

Yes. Most jar-based brands have multiple flavors or scents (e.g., 5 types of jam). Simply add each flavor or SKU as a separate item to your cart. This ensures our team generates unique digital proofs for every product in your lineup. MOQ is 100 labels per design.
How do I set up files for wraparound or tapered jars?
For standard straight-sided jars, leave a 2mm gap at the seam to avoid overlap bulk. If your jar is tapered (wider at the top), a standard rectangle will wrinkle; please contact our team for a custom dieline template to ensure your artwork follows the curve of the glass perfectly.
Are these labels safe for the fridge and kitchen environment?
Our Vinyl and Matte Vinyl are 100% waterproof and condensation-resistant. They are designed to stay adhered from the cold fridge to the dinner table without bubbling or peeling. For products involving oils or heavy handling (like hot sauces or honey), we recommend adding a laminate for maximum protection.
Can I specify core size and wind direction for my labeling machine?
Yes. Our roll labels are supplied on 3" industrial cores by default. If your automatic jar labeler requires a specific wind direction (Top-off, Bottom-off, etc.) or orientation, simply leave a note in the "Artist Instructions" at checkout and we will match your machine's specs.
Will my small nutrition facts and ingredient lists be readable?
Absolutely. We use high-definition UV printing that keeps Nutrition Facts and INCI lists razor-sharp. We recommend keeping your font size ≥ 5.5pt for legal legibility. We review every file manually and will flag any text that might be too small to print clearly.
What is the best way to apply labels to glass or plastic jars?
For a permanent, bubble-free bond, always apply labels to clean, dry surfaces at room temperature. If your jars were stored in a cold area, let them reach room temp before applying. Our high-tack adhesive cures in 24 hours, making them safe for refrigerated shipping or shelf display.
