Spring Shaker Size Guide
We measure Spring Shakers based on the longest side of your artwork. For the perfect "wobble," consider the balance between your main character and the base size.
- The "Longest Side" Rule: Price is determined by the maximum dimension (width or height). Most wobblers look best when kept under 3.5″ to maintain spring tension.
- Balance & Stability: Ensure your design’s center of gravity is relatively centered. Top-heavy designs may cause the spring to lean over time.
- Base Proportion: We recommend a base size at least 50-60% of the main character's width to ensure it doesn't tip during vigorous "springing."
- Text & Detail: Keep important facial features or body text at least 2mm away from the cutline to ensure a clean, safe edge.
Spring Shaker: Upload & Design Rules
Perfect bounce requires a perfect layout. Please follow these technical specs for your custom spring wobbler.
- File Structure (PSD/AI Preferred): Use separate layers or artboards for the Top Character and the Base. If using PNG, ensure both are provided in one file with clear spacing.
- The 20mm Glue Zone: The spring attachment point is a 20mm circle. Ensure your character's center of gravity has enough space to accommodate this adhesive area without overlapping critical art details.
- DPI & Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI. High-definition UV printing captures every detail, so ensure your source files are high-res for a premium collector-grade finish.
- Balance Check: Place your character in the center of the canvas. If your design is extremely wide or asymmetrical, our team will adjust the spring placement to prevent leaning.
- White Borders: Default 2.5mm acrylic border. If you prefer a Full Bleed (borderless) or custom color border, please specify in the "Order Notes."

To ensure the perfect spring balance for each character, each design must be added as a separate item. This allows our team to customize the spring attachment point and provide a specific digital proof for every unique shape.
How should I set up files for the spring mount? +
Provide high-res PNG/SVG (300 DPI recommended). You don't need to draw the spring! Just provide your character art and base art. Our designers will determine the optimal center of gravity for the 20mm spring mount and send you a proof for confirmation.
How durable is the spring? Will it rust or lose its bounce? +
We use industrial-grade stainless steel springs that are rust-resistant and tested for high-rebound longevity. They are designed to stay "bouncy" even after thousands of wobbles on a desk or car dashboard.
Is the adhesive safe for car dashboards? +
Yes! We provide premium 3M clear adhesive pads with every spring shaker. They offer a strong grip for driving vibrations but can be removed without leaving sticky residue or damaging most standard dashboard surfaces.
What finishes are available for Spring Shakers? +
Just like our keychains, you can choose Clear, Holo Broken Glass, Holo Star, or Rainbow Holographic shells. The spring mount is applied to the back, while your art shines through the front finish.
