Go 3mm clear cast acrylic, not extruded. Cast cuts cleaner on thin frond tips and holds glow pigment evenly through the sheet. Thinner stock flexes in a back pocket, and the drill hole is where cracks start after three nights of abuse. Cast also keeps that glassy edge look that reads as premium on camera.

Print placement

Ask for the UV print on the reverse face. You look through the front of the acrylic to reach the ink, so a lanyard clip or a spilled drink can't scrape your logo off. It also gives the artwork a slight submerged depth that flat printing never gets.

Don't rely on color for access tiers

One Thing to Plan Around: Die-Cut Tolerance

Real talk. High-speed die-cutting carries a ±0.5mm shift tolerance. That sounds like nothing until you're cutting a palm tree with skinny frond tips.

If your VIP text or festival logo sits 1mm from the die line, a half-millimeter drift can nick the edge of your type. Multiply that across 2,000 pieces and a chunk of the run looks off.

So plan for it. Keep all type and key art at least 3mm inside the cut line. Give fronds a minimum thickness of about 1.5mm and thicken a skinny trunk. Your palm tree still reads as a palm tree from across the gate, and you don't lose a run to edge clipping.
